Come hang out with this fun filled group of empty-nesters! From 55-105 years of age, this group loves to get together to share a meal, encourage one another in our Christian walk and spur each other on toward reaching others for Christ. Our Worthy Warriors Ministry highlights include a fun BBQ Picnic at the lake, a fall decorating party to bless shut ins, game nights, potlucks and more! We try to keep our activities accessible and affordable for everyone involved. Keep an eye in the newsletter and on the bulletin board by the mission wall for our quarterly events.

We look forward to getting to know each other on a deeper level and challenge each other to run the race set out before us in Christ Jesus.

Worthy Warriors Leaders
Pastor Steve and Janice began ministry in their local church over 40 years ago, serving the youth, as well as Janice leading Women’s Ministries. In 1984, the couple accepted a call into pastoral ministry and both attended Nazarene Bible College in Colorado Springs, CO, graduating in 1988. They have pastored 3 churches in Wisconsin and Michigan, as well as long term interim positions and pulpit supply in over fifty churches.
Pastor Steve also has served on Carriage Town Mission Board, has been a Hospice Chaplain for seven years, as well as a successful business owner.
Pastor Steve and Janice have been married forty-nine years and enjoy their adult sons, Jason, Jeffrey, and Joshua, along with five fantastic grandchildren. Pastor Steve enjoys outdoor hobbies including hiking, kayaking, and target shooting at his local gun range. Janice enjoys reading, music, landscape painting, and quilting.
They have accepted the position of leading the 55 and older group at FamilyNaz and have a great passion for those individuals to live a life striving to be a Worthy Warrior for God, finishing well, loving God, loving others.
